ABC Nutrition Tips

The ABC’s of nutrition is a brief glimpse into some basic foundations of a confusing area of health. The first area and most important area of health that needs to be addressed is oxygen. It is a well known fact that you can live for a month or so without food, a week or so without water but without air you die in minutes. It is also a well known fact that most disease including cancer and others cannot survive in an oxygen rich environment.

More energy, clearer thinking and an overall sense of well being are experienced when the body is saturated with oxygen. It therefore stands to reason that the more oxygen you can get into your body the better it will be for your overall health. One of the easiest ways to do this is through deep breathing, if you spend 10 minutes or so per day breathing deeply you will assist your body in eliminating toxins, increase energy and dramatically reduces the incidences of headaches.

Since it is not always easy to remember to breathe deeply you may want to consider investing in a machine like the “Chi Machine” also known as an effortless aerobic exerciser. It not only assists you in oxygenating your cells but also increases the energy flow throughout your body. 15 minutes on this machine with you lying flat on your back is the equivalent of 90 minutes of aerobic exercise! The next element crucial to your health is water. Your body is over 70% water. Water is used to move nutrients throughout your body and to purge and eliminate toxins. There are a number of ways to get good water into your body but in general I suggest you consider a good water filter like one offered by aquaspace.com and you may also want to consider replacing bottled waters which have been known to have many contaminants with a portable water bottle filter from http://www.seychelle.com/

If you drink at least one ounce per half pound of body weight daily (ex: you weigh 180 you drink 80 ounces of water daily) you will successfully hydrate your body to eliminate toxins properly and adequately move nutrients through the body. The third element in the foundation of good health is live organic whole food nutrition. This insures the body is optimally fed physically as well as energetically.

The food you put into your body has attributes that will either add to your life force or take away. The closer you can get to unprocessed, live foods the better. It is becoming increasingly apparent that no matter how much live organic whole foods we consume we are still NOT getting proper nutrition because of the lack of nutrients in our soils.

There are a number of good companies with good products online that offer organic wholefoods. One in particular stands out is called wholefood farmacy they make consuming organic wholefoods convenient and palatable through a number of snacks and farinas. There produce is sourced from some of the few places left in the country where the soil does have a considerable amount of nutrients. I have been quite pleased with their snacks and personal care products. Have A Great Day!
